The MWR we've known since '07 is a done deal after this year. Even if they do merge with someone, it'll be a shell of its former self, and eventually go the way of DEI. To be fair, as embarrassing and painful to watch as 2007 was, they sure did come a long way. Say what you will about Mikey, but he did surround himself with the right people to build a contender. Sure, Kauffman had a lot to do with it, but Waltrip had business smarts and played a big part in getting them to where they had been pre-Richmond '13 (even though his performance behind the wheel was never up to par). |

MWR has accomplished a lot. Say what you will about Mikey but it's a shame to see a moderately successful team go away. |

If you go on Andy's Twitter page and scroll back through the weeks, it shows them getting the car out (it's an Oldsmobile, not a Lumina), ripping down the engine and getting everything set. Even Leo Jackson came to help. Truly awesome stuff. |
