A point well made, but we are still watching after all this crap, aren't we?

This could really come back to bite everyone in a bad way. In the last laps of the next plate races the drivers will remember this call and we could see the wreck that Smith prevented today. In my opinion the yellow line rule creates more problems than it prevents.

Really good point. Then you'll have drivers/teams/fans complaining how their driver got wrecked on the last lap and the driver who wrecked them should be penalized.

Eh, I'm watching Family Guy. Always seems to me that when there's a good issue to debate, it's only the tards that get on air to discuss it.

Only time I go to NASCAR.com is when I want to see Entry List, Practice / Happy Hour times, Qualifying results, and race results.

Yea Ive felt like that for a while too. I can only think of maybe 1-2 times where a crash was caused simply because someone tried to pass under the line.

Anyways, this turned out to be an extremely disappointing weekend overall. First Wheels goes out for the arca race, then the stream died for the truck race, then all the tire problems, the timing of the wrecks, bad decisions, and relatively boring finish of the cup race.

Yeah, the only two I can think of was 1999 in the Spring, where Skinner and Stewart went into the grass to battle, and maybe the wreck after 2000 in the fall, where I think they went like 7-wide at the end.

Don't forget the last lap to the 1997 Pepsi 400. That's the most vivid memory I have of people BOMBING to the apron

Man, that was complete bullshit. That was by far the best CoT race ever, only to have been ruined by a shitty fucking call by Nascar. Regan Smith isn't a great driver, but it doesn't take a great driver to win at Talladega. Given the rules Nascar apparently gave the drivers before the race, Regan Smith won fair and square. An appeal won't do any good, Nascar has made their shitty ass call and won't go back on it.

Fuck Nascar, this was the final straw. I took a break from Nascar earlier this year for a couple months, hoping the racing would get better. Just when I come back and it had gotten somewhat better, Nascar does this shit. Yeah, I'm through with it, and anyone that knows me knows I'm a man of my fucking word.
