Utter retards. Everyone in race control & everybody in NASCAR's management needs to be sacked.

Theoretically, that'd be great if NASCAR didn't seemingly pride itself on its sickening ineptitude.

And Bubba just instantly became one of my favorite drivers. Makes me happy when drivers aren't afraid to stick it to NASCAR.

What a strange time to throw the caution. I appreciate that they tried to let it go, but in the end they chose a bizarre moment to pull the trigger.

Why the hell were they drying the track anyway? Literally a full day for it to dry on its own before the Cup race.

Gotta have something to talk about during the Dega race.

sounds like they make those calls based on potential injuries to drivers. it seems like the safety crews are only allowed to enter the track when they are given the "all-clear" and nascar throws the caution. driver safety > legit finish. there were definitely some big hits in there; seemed justified to me (but admittedly disappointing).

(yes, playing devil's advocate just a little)

NASCAR and these limp dick drivers need to grow a pair...Tony Stewart is spot on, this sport has gone soft and officiated by ass hats. I guarantee all these trust fund babies in the sport now would never be willing to risk it all on the last lap....how pathetic.

They certainly could have waited 10 more seconds to throw the caution. Or even less, how long it takes from turn 4 to the s/f line?

I don't blame them for throwing the yellow. Would have made sense to throw it right away. But to wait so long to race it out, and then throw it with about 5-7 seconds of racing left felt like a cruel tease.

I get it, that was a SAVAGE wreck. At least two cars for sure airborne, and pretty sure Bubba flipped over by the inside wall, they should have just called it immediately as we expected than to tease us of a clean and green run to the line to pull the plug 1000 yards from the finish. Though if it's any consolidation, I think Almirola beat Allgaier to the actual finish line.

EDIT...I stand corrected...god dammit NASCAR, this would of been such a tast photo finish. :slaphead:

Just 9 more seconds and the leaders could have made it to the S/F line and started slowing down on their own from there. Possibly even less if the leaders weren't going full speed after the yellow waved.
