Don't you have to be a minimum 18 to run in Nascar Truck/NW/Cup events (iirc that was why Punk Busch's debut was delayed because Nascar didn't want him racing at 17)? Just make the rule specific to those three, the local series can police themselves.

On the reason why they don't race trucks on Thursday I always figured it was for space in the infield. Parades are cool though.

As for the truck race. Storm kept screwing up the feed for me. I wish Sadler would of actually done something as opposed to nothing. Maybe he will get some revenge tomorrow night but I doubt it. NASCAR needs to park Kyle for a weekend to send a message. Worked for Harvick years ago. Maybe he will piss off Richard Petty. Petty could still beat the shit out of him I bet.

They should make it where if you don't have a drivers license you can't race. Then we wouldn't have to see Michale Anett wreck every week and Kyle would be gone for the rest of the year. Some race tracks in Indiana require you to have a valid Indiana drivers license, some don't.

That would fuck over half the kids in Legends cars. Plus you only have to be 14 to run a street or ministock, and 15 to run the Touring Divisions.

The guy that won the pole for tonight's ARCA race at Madison turned 16 today.

This race has been a lot more entertaining than I expected it to be. I guess the track surface has gotten a little better with some age?

Also, anyone else wish they'd paint a yellow line at the edge of the apron/banking like they used to just for old time's sake? The track looks weird without it.

Great finish.

Liked that battle among the 16, 32, and 66 near the end as well.

I wonder how much different the races would be if the Cup guys were involved solely in an advisory role..

And here's the sequel, the "Bristol Sweep", including the dance that's sweeping the nation!

ESPN did a great job....

....of failing to make the finish sound as good as it looked - yet again.

Yep. ESPN throws us a bone by promoting Allen Bestwick back to the head commentator position for the Cup races... but still gives us a giant middle finger by leaving Marty Reid as the head Nationwide Series commentator. :yuk:
