It's just really odd that Carl would be sponsored by M&M's when he lives such a healthy lifestyle. But I suppose money and a top ride talk.

M&Ms and Subway is a helluva combination.

There goes that rumor

Quote:
Just 24 hours ago, reports surfaced that Carl Edwards will leave Roush Fenway Racing to drive an M&Ms-sponsored Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing beginning in 2015, with Kyle Busch driving a JGR Camry backed by Monster Energy Drink. Now, however, reliable sources say the M&Ms sponsorship will absolutely remain with Busch next season, and beyond. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a JGR insider said there is no truth to yesterday's rumor that M&Ms will back Edwards next season, rather than Busch. "Kyle is M&Ms guy," said the source, "and it is going to stay that way." Edwards' remains characteristically tight-lipped about his ongoing contract negotiations, and no one at either Joe Gibbs Racing or Roush Fenway Racing have commented on reports of his impending move. If he does jump to JGR, however, it appears that it will not be with the support of M&Ms (Godfather Motorsports)

I could see Carl being a good representative for Monster, much more so than Kyle.

Eh he doesn't really have that Monster or energy drink personality. Plus I don't think Carl puts that garbage into his body. (yes it's all complete garbage)

Apparently Home Depot may be leaving NASCAR after this season.

Besides Matt's rear bumper they don't have much of a presence this season.

Yeaa, their presence has really shrunk a lot so that's not a huge surprise.

Well, Husky Tools is a Home Depot brand. Like Kobalt/Lowes.

Trotting back to the Carl Edwards sponsorship situation, I thought it was a case of "wherever Carl goes, Subway & Fastenal follows"?

Corey Lajoie is going to be pulling double-duty at Kentucky this weekend. He's going to be running the truck race in Ricky Benton's #92 truck and the Nationwide Race in the #98 car for the Biagi Brothers.

Good, more sponsors need to leave to end this terrible sport once and for all.

Home Depot are done; wise choice by them. Even more reason to shop there instead of Lowes. Nationwide should have gotten out totally as well. Already know changing my home/auto/etc insurance won't be cheaper with the lizard or any other insurance biz with 50 years family loyalty counting for something @ Nationwide. But if it isn't that much higher to swap, I will change. No donations to RH/Felon - Fortson - Cheater Chad racing from me. Looked into changing when Nationwide first got into the supportsman series.

Kyle Busch apparently said "Is the M&M's contract signed yet?" on the cool-down lap after Sunday's race. You can definitely take that several different ways. Either he's on the verge of extending with M&M's for himself (and doesn't think he should because Carl won the race), or... I have no idea what to think, but I have a feeling M&M's won't be signing with Carl. It's just too much of a weird fit, sponsor-wise.
