I'll wait to hear something official.

Still, why in the world did they start a 2nd team when $$$ was less for the 30 car this year compared to last season?

Tried to dream too big it sounds like and they imploded before we even made it thru the first half of the season. A real shame cause Cole and Parker are above average drivers, and could do decent in proper equipment. From what it sounds like they want to Keep Cole Whitt's season going....though I thought Parker was doing a better job.

I read that one possibility is that Swan Racing continues to operate as a single car team with Cole Whitt driving and the #30 team gets absorbed by BK Racing to become a 3rd team for them.

Imagine if Joe Gibbs or Michael Waltrip tried to absorb the 30 car...I think Kligerman could do pretty good in better equipment.

That would be pretty awesome, but keep in mind they are basicly running with no sponsorship, which is why they are shutting down. I don't see Gibbs picking up such a money pit just to be nice.

Kligerman kind of has past connections to that organization, in part because he ran the full Nationwide schedule last year for Kyle Busch Motorsports (which was supported with mostly JGR equipment). Sure, you might not see the coach pick up Kligerman...but Michael Waltrip...that might be another story since he has a history with the number 30 from when he drove the Pennzoil car in the early 1990s.

And both teams have sponsorship to go around, it just depends on which ones are willing to back a young driver like Kligerman.

what happened to 50Cent? Why won't he step up? Does he not care about NASCAR!?

All joking aside, I hope they don't close up shop. Hate to see teams exit the sport.

Didn't he step up from a little sticker on the C-pillar to a primary sponsorship these past 2 races?

Yeah but doesn't he have part ownership in the team as well?

Very interesting interview with Keselowski about the time his family had to shut down their race team. He seems to get really emotional about it.

With the way he's run in the K&N East Series this year, he's deserving of the opportunity.

I'm sure they will also get some kind of drive 4 diversity bonus funds or something.

Can we assume then that Johanna Long won't be getting that opportunity now?

Sad she's already been written off no mentions at all this year. Anyone else notice how Nelson Piquet and Miguel Paludo disappeared without a trace over the off season?

Isn't Piquet set to do Rally Cross?

I like the idea of Road Atlanta being on the schedule.
