Hate to bring it to a more somber note but Lynda Petty has passed away today.

Lol. Hats off to them for being able to get that on the car. I've been impressed with Josh Wise this season. I think he was unlucky at Front Row, with most of the resources going into the 34 and 38. He's put that 98 car higher than it should have been a few times already. Just hope it qualifies for Dega now!

Not gonna lie, as much as I detest the meme, it's a sigh of relief that a crowdfunded car gets entered in a race.

So Denny's vision problem was caused by a small piece of metal in his eye, not the sinus infection. Doctors removed the debris (quite literally, visibiris) and his vision cleared up.

Weird.

According to a story on SBNation.com, the sponsorship was done through a page set up on Reddit and raised $55,000 — in part to someone who meant to donate the dogecoin equivalent of about $1,500 and accidentally donated about $15,000. About 1,200 people donated 67,500,000 dogecoins for the sponsorship.

He made that 35 car look alot better than what it actually is.

Shawna Robinson diagnosed with breast cancer: Former NASCAR driver Shawna Robinson, the first woman to win a pole in what is now the Nationwide Series, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Robinson, who now works in interior design and is creator and owner of Happy Chair which restores old chairs, announced on her Facebook page this week that she would begin five to six months of chemotherapy and then require surgery.

Sad.

On another note, IndyCar is adding it.

Feels like it should be sponsored by Gilette tbh.

In a few years time they'll be telling us to throw out our Air Titan 5.0 for the air titan 6.0 with 20 blades.

In 10 years time the air titan 10.0 will have 50 blades, all pointed upwards to blow any threat of rainclouds away from the track.
Yes that's right, the vortex effect will move from B.S. to reality.

Needless to say, DW will have the last laugh. ;)

Hard to believe it's been 21 years since Alan Kulwicki's death. I remember my mom waking me up for school that morning with the news that he had died. There aren't many stories in NASCAR like him. Everybody thought he was crazy for turning down a chance to drive the #11 for Junior Johnson and the next year he beat that car for the championship in his own car.

Random probable default on payment news now: SR2 Motorsports (00 and 24 in the Nationwide Series) have allegedly had their shop padlocked by the local sheriff today.
