Pretty sure he's broken his right leg/ankle. It's a common injury in a head on accident if the driver has their foot pressed hard on the brake pedal and then when the impact comes all that energy travels through the firewall and pedal box straight into the drivers leg.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing Kyle fail to win anything significant in the main events, and I really don't like him as a driver - I maintain he has a very punchable face most of the time - but that's a nasty nasty way to end your season before it's properly begun.

As much as I'd like to see him bugger off from the lower tier series so the scraps for the win are a little closer, I very much doubt this will change his mindset in the future, which is something to be admired.

You get the sense that if they ran seven events over a three day period, Kyle would make sure he was entered into every single one of them and would try to run every single lap, because it's racing, and that's what he loves doing.

And you have to respect that, even begrudgingly.

Just great to see so many feeling sorry for Kyle. I hope he humbles up and grow as a person from this.

And he got out of the car in such a hurry, I just hope that didn't make things worse. This kinda injury send chills down my spine. Ouch.

I too believe in karma, but from that? No way. Kyle was mocking Nascar and their ridiculous qualifying procedure, it wasn't an act of malice. Totally an innocent gesture. If one is wanting to argue karma, look at Kyle's record in the past, Grasshopper.

Besides, karma had nothing to do with it, just bad luck.
