I didn't think it was that dumb from the live angle. He had someone to his right and was slowing down and trying to commit. The 69 just plain slid right into his path.

That was ARCA as fuck lolololol

Edit: Actually upon watching the replays I agree with Chris, not a lot he could have done to avoid that, it was just unlucky.

The first hit by the 23 was hard too 8O

Enfinger's hit into the wall was pretty ugly.

Exactly. You've only only got time make one move.

That head on view showed that it was bad luck rather then anything. Just chose the wrong way to go.

Looks like Smith hit quite a bit faster than Busch did.

He also didn't scrub off a lot of speed which probably was good.

Jesus that was tough to watch at full speed. So thankful for the HANS device and SAFER barriers. I'd hate to think what that hit would have been like 15 years ago.

Anyone remember Christi Passmore's wreck off Turn 4 here in 2004?

That was one of the hardest hits I've seen at Talladega. In any series.

Yeah that one was devastating as well. Does anyone have footage of that one, by the by? I tried looking it up on YouTube a few weeks ago and couldn't find shit.

I want to feel excited about this finish, but I feel like nobody is going to be able to do anything to challenge the leader as usual.

Like pretty much every other ARCA plate race, no one will have the balls to make the move.

They'll meander around for a single-file finish, but we'll feel obligted to be hyped because it's Dega
