I love how 90% of the confetti drifted onto the grass instead of victory lane. Maybe a bit metaphorical?

well that kinda blows the theory out the water that it's the tracks producing crap racing, I blame Goodyear personally.

But at least it was a better race than those two Texas snoozefests.

Congrats NASCAR, the best race of your weekend was put on by your Third String series at a track you essentially abandoned for years.

Also, doesn't bother me that Kahne won. I'm not a fan of his either, but Nelson lost that race. Kahne just...capitolized.

NASCAR says 73,000 at Texas Friday night

There is no way in hell that Nationwide race drew 73,000 people.

For what it's worth, the Texas race might have been a bore, but at least NASCAR let the race run its course without intervening. Surprised they did tho.

Before an estimated attendance of 159,200, Greg Biffle won the Samsung Mobile 500
Before an estimated attendance of 73,600, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300
Before an estimated crowd of 27,500, Kasey Kahne won the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 200

They're saying the most recent truck race at Texas last fall drew a crowd of 56,500.

These numbers are always fail. I went to the final Nationwide race at Nashville Superspeedway (R.I.P.) and they estimated the crowd at 18,000. No way in hell it was over 10,000. It's no wonder they closed the gates there. I went to the last couple of races at the Fairgrounds in Nashville. The place was always packed full, I think it held almost 15,000. Funny how they thought the big track would be so much better. The very first year they sold standing room only tickets for the Busch and IRL races. Somewhere around 40-45,000 people there. Sad deal...
