The racing between the lead pack of Sheltra, Lofton, and Kligerman, and the second pack of Buescher, Hudson, Schrader, and Kimmel about halfway through the race was pretty insane, some of the best racing I've seen at Salem yet. Congrats to Partick Sheltra, that makes 4 first-time winners and 2 second-time winners in the 9 ARCA races I've been to.

Really awesome to see him winning "soon" after that crash at Daytona.

This might be a bit of a shot in the dark, but did anyone capture the live stream from ARCA website of the ARCA race at Salem?

Going to Kentucky Speedway this weekend for ARCA. I've got a thing lined up for me by a crewmember of PGM Racing. Hopefully I'll get some decent pictures like always. I'll be heading to Toledo the week after this for the ARCA race there.

Is it possible to capture a live stream? I may not be here for the race Saturday night.

If you're on ARCA Nation,I think it'll let you watch the race after it's held, I remember watching Salem at one point on there after the race had run.

Stephen McCurley just crashed his car about 5 minutes into ARCA practice.

Was there another crash? They have had clean up crews in turn 3 for like 20 min.

Nevermind, looks like the track is having some issues surface wise.

I was up there for this. We had a ton of rain Friday afternoon/evening and they had trouble with weepers in T4 all day. Cancelled qualifying and didn't get practice really going until 4:10-15.

Race was pretty decent. Lofton pulled away bigtime early but from around the halfway point on, he and Beuscher had an ongoing battle that really kicked ass. Kligerman was coming strong late too to make it a three car battle but he spun off T4 when he tried to pass Lofton on the inside, got stuck in the grass and lost a couple laps.

The Lofton/Buescher battle was pretty good. It would've been a boring race if they hadn't raced each other. I was hoping Kligerman could get up there and make it a three way battle for the win.

Got sunburned pretty good yesterday, though that's my own fault. I was in the garage with Mike Koch and the K & K Racing team, with about a half hour before pre-race inspection they had to take the transmission out and work on it,also had trouble with the clutch I think. The plan was to idle it and park it at the start just to get the start money, but Mike actually stayed out for about 20 laps before it went. I also got the chance to talk to Steve Arpin,Bryan Silas,Frank Kimmel and James Hylton, which was pretty cool. Silas always seems to notice the fans, Hylton happened to be in the garage stall next to us.

I got tired of taking the same old style of shots, the "just aim at a car and shoot",so I gave angles a try,and probably got a bit carried away with it,but oh well.

I really like this shot of Hylton's car I took.

Only the first one is rotated too much. The other ones look fantastic.

I'll fix it in Photoshop when I get off work, then we'll see if it looks better.
