Wow. Again I understand but this does not look good for Penske. Gotta be thinking Shell doesn't want more negative shit.

I gave the benefit of the doubt before but after hearing the audio from the 38 finally.. I'm disgusted.

Not fuck you NASCAR, but fuck your teams. You fucked all us fans. I was a huge Penske fan but no more. I hope that team from Denver beats the fuck out of you. Maybe Kurt had it right

Well first off I don't see this as anywhere near as severe as what MWR did they made the 38 team lose one spot which at the end of the day didn't matter since they had the tie breaker with gordon. Secondly what's the point of secret radio channels when nascar still can hear every sketchy thing you say anyway?

By precedent, a 50 point penalty. Take Logano out of the chase and put Gordon in where he belongs, or just disband the whole Goddamn fucked up worthless organization that NASCAR has become.

Not in NA, but in Finland it really starts today.

After all this bullshit dust settles....we all know Kenseth is gonna win the championship, right? He's gonna win 5 chase races and go into Homestead having to finish 35th or better.

I don't know why, maybe since he left Roush, but I no longer have a deep seeded hatred for Kenseth. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him win this year. :?

It's probably because of Jack Roush.

I'm the same way.

Matt in the 17 = hatred
Matt in the 20 = ok, i guess

I don't like Joe Gibbs but I dislike him a heck of a lot less than Roush.

It's kinda like Logano. I HATED him when he was with JGR but I don't mind him now that he's in the 22.

Why is everyone so up in arms? Did y'all really think this shit hasn't been happening all along anyway or is it more of the, "If it's not blatantly obvious we don't care about it" attitude?

All of this is NASCAR's fault for creating a points system that is inherently exclusive. But, even then, to be my own devils advocate, this same sort of stuff happened all the time back in the old days too. It's the nature of the game when you have millions of dollars on the line.

I might be in the minority here, but I still wouldn't want Gordon to get in *this* way.

I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS!!!! (I'd post a Mugatu from Zoolander gif of some kind, but I'm at work.)

Thank you sir. It just helps hammer the point home. haha

That being said, if you fine the 22 and 38, that opens up a big ol' can of worms when it comes to passing cars on the race track. I'd rather just forget Richmond and move on.

I actually prefer the idea of an angry and determined (and out of the Chase) Jeff Gordon over the next 10 races, over a "yep, sure, I'm ready for the Chase" Jeff Gordon that probably wouldn't amount to much, considering the way they've run this year. He's going to run with a chip on his shoulder, and I honestly think it'll get him a win. It sure as hell worked for Smoke in '06, and Gordon got a win in late '05 as well.

Buuuuut that's just me.

Also, this about sums up Clint Bowyer's interviews about his spin.

NASCAR has unveiled the CWTS version of the COT. It will run starting at Daytona in February.

Looks like a cement block.
