If they get the race started let's say, at 9.30 ET, it could end (if it ends) close to 2 AM. That's 3 AM here, and I have to get up at 5.20 to work. I'll try and watch some laps though.

If I'm not mistaken, one of the recent July Daytona races (I want to say 2006) didn't end until 2AM, right?

Nah. '06 didn't end quite that late. It was Canada Day and I had time to go see fireworks after it... I'm thinking it was '05, probably.
