One of my favorites from the 1990s.

And since someone asked for the 1991-96 Pennzoil scheme, here you go:

It'll be nice to see Labonte with a halfway decent ride once again... I mean, Petty Enterprises was really in a funk when he was there. Hopefully, this MWR-related team is what he needs to end his career on the right foot.

On that topic, I've really been impressed with that team (MWR) and how far it has come in almost four years, considering he was just another journeyman driver with dreams of being some kind of Hendrick-like superpower. Obviously, they aren't there yet, but I applaud the gains they're making.

Its a shame someone like Junior is hogging the good equipment at Hendrick and does absolutely nothing with it while someone like Bobby who still deserves a chance with his career in its twilight is a shame. Makes me dislike Dale and Snail even more.

But I suppose the 47 is a good pick because Ambrose has shown us it has potential to race pretty well. The paint doesn't look bad either considering this year's 47s were almost all terrible to look at.

I wish it looked like this though...

Love the Harvick scheme, but it would be perfect if that red strip continued around the rear fenders and bumper.

It'll be interesting to see how the 47 does next year. Bobby Labonte's always been one of my favourite drivers, but really I think the 47 team has been preparing some real turds of cars this year; the few top 10s and top 5s they've had are mostly a result of Ambrose avoiding trouble and dragging it up there at the end. That may just be the Ambrose fanboy in me talking though. I'll be equally interested to see how he does in the 9 next year.

I liked this car in the Allstar this year and I like it even more now. If the team designers can't come up with anything nice maybe they should just keep the cars blank like this (and the 29) because its a great look after 5 or so straight years of complicated/ugly bullshit design wise in Nascar.

As I said earlier, this car owned. I just wished cars today looked like cars from the late 90's, because they were no bad schemes.

BTW, Logano's car is awesome, because...
