Did he at least open his mouth to talk this time? I dunno why, but it bugs the crap out of me, it's like he's trying to be a ventriloquist.

Very entertaining race, overall. Good racing all through the field and no single driver dominated the race.

Kelly Bires showed what he can do when the team owner lets him race. Just thing, Todd Braun could have had that kind of run if he didn't use Bires to valet park the #10 car at Vegas and Bristol.

Shelby Howard got a top 15 run in his second race in the #70 car. That's a solid result for a team that doesn't have the big budget that a lot of other teams have.

Sounds like I missed a pretty exciting race. What a weird flip for Nemacheck as well.

I like how he steered away from the wall literally an instant after landing heavily on all four wheels 8).

Whenever people say Logano should've had another season in Nationwide before doing Cup, I just tell em that's probably not true as the COT is so different to the old generation car type that the Cup series phased out in 2008 and what Nationwide still uses, that there seems to be pretty much nothing you can transfer over to Cup, unlike before the COT when the Cup car was pretty similar to Nationwide, and that race backed it up. Granted the Gibbs car are in a different zipcode, but heck, he still beat Kyle freakin Busch in basically the same car, never mind Kyle's slight damage after hitting McDowell, Logano was still matching him all race long before that even happened. The COT is a different animal and last year, even top drivers like Jeff and Matt had trouble figuring it out at first and for Joey to tackle the Cup series, there's no way around more time racing the COT, especially if Home Depot are cool with this being a learning year for him. I'm not a Logano fanboy at all, so don't bash me for sounding like one but I'm just sayin what I think here is all.

On a side note, how about Lamar intentionally dumping a guy out twice in 3 races? First it was someone at Bristol can't remember who but I remember he kept on nudging the guy till he spun out, and today he took out David Green the same way. I don't care what went on before that, you don't end a guy's day over something he did to piss you off. Especially if you're a POS that's struggling to crack into the top-10 in what is basically a Gibbs car and had a lousy career before it to boot.

Kudos to Stenhouse (or Steenhouse/Steinhouse as Rusty calls him). Even though what he did at Toledo last year wasn't cool, he's definitely got the right stuff to have a good stock car career it seems. Same goes for Kelly Bires.. never once did he mess up all race and that pass on Edwards near the end showed he can go past the best when it's time.

Must be pretty humiliating for Kyle to lose to his teammate in an equal car as that kind of stuff isn't good for his ego one bit.
