Most anticipated race of the season (well, after Australia). Don't care if the 1,5h race itself is dull, the whole weekend is what matters. Can't wait till Friday.

Couldn't find it on the official site, but can I buy tickets to Friday only this year?

If there is one last thing I could see before going blind I probably pick that one over my wife and daughter.

you sure? I don't want to find myself a car, drive for 2 hours in traffic jam, pay for parking, to arrive at the gate where I can only buy a weekend ticket at full price.

Hyped for this one, but more for personal reasons. I'll be visiting back home and watching it with my father, like in the good'ol times. :)

First live Spa race, 1996, 11yo me rooting for Schumacher, that TAST pass on Villeneuve as he exited the pitlane.

Old La Source layout (with the gutter!), no pitlane exit white line, REAL RACIN' bitch.

Anyone heading to Spa this weekend?

people often say lots of things about Eau Rouge and Blanchimont being dangerous, but nothing was near dangerous as Masta. If you got that slow your lap time was even slower, if you got it wrong you could crash into a post

The best thing about Spa is that after the race you are usually stuck in a traffic jam on the old track. I can live with that.

I remember running wide out of Masta in GPL, and then spinning across the track and into the house on the right. Fun times.

Yup, 3 days ;) Friday and Saturday sunny and dry, Sunday 50 percent chance of heavy rain in the Ardennes-region as it stands today :p

Bronze area Friday = 20 euro

Silver 1 Friday = 30 euro

Silver 2 and 4 Friday = 60 euro

We're expecting 100.000 spectators, police has been re-enforced to make the chaos complete when going to the carpark. In the morning, leave early and after the race, stick around and go for a trackwalk unless you wanna get stuck in a 3 or 4 hour traffic jam when you go home. After 6.30 PM most of the rush hour should be over.
