If Hollywood movies were to be believed then Maldonado is the ultimate hero.

This is the character who starts off with a shitty reputation, the person everyone hates, who then goes through a transformation and becomes a truly great person that everyone loves, but only to slip back in to his past persona and reputation due an unforeseen (by him, not us the movie audience) event or occurrence. When the is true Hollywood-ending Maldonado going to emerge? You know, the ending where he realises the errors of his ways and emerges phoenix-from-the-flames style becoming the hero that everyone wanted and loved mid-film, leaving his past indiscretions behind him.

If Maldonado's life was really a movie, then it will have been directed by Michael Bay... or Judd Apatow.

Aaanyway

We need rain. Wasn't 1996 the last wet Spanish GP? It gave enough water to cover the next 10 years, but we deserve a new wet GP by now.

I'm going to that race.

I have also been in direct contact with McLaren this week, as my hotel will host part of their crew during the race weekend. The management from McLaren and from Honda, one of the 2 drivers and his manager, family, trainer, and some event/press staff.

I'll try to get VIP passes from them or something, although I know last year they didn't give us anything, except for two signed hats, which I just got to touch as they were then sold during some gala dinner for charity. I saw Magnussen from afar this week but I could not talk to him or ask for an autograph...
