You have 3 votes again this season. For the 1st race I say: Mercedes, Nasr, Vettel Special mentions to Sainz Jr, Verstappen & Hulkenberg and both Mercedes drivers of course. |

Nasr, he did stand up from the crowd. Good F1 debut. Second vote went to Räikkönen, because he showed better pace in Melbourne than last whole year, it's like Iceman is back to top notch. Shame that we didn't get to see if he could have catched Felipe. |

Mercedes (grudgingly as it's boring) are going to saunter off with all the Championships by the summer. Sauber (I'm voting for them in the farce poll too) as that's a huge turnaround from last year's awful car. Nasr for a very impressive debut. |

Hamilton, made it look easy. Sauber, amazing turnaround from last year. And Nasr, amazing debut. |

micha wrote: Sauber because I thought they would be utter shit Ferrari for improving over last year Verstappen because even though I'm biased show me another 17 year old who can do this He's relatively mature but he's been groomed for this since he was old enough to reach pedals and to be honest, with the field complete, he might have been fighting for a point. If he is consistently in the points, then we can crown him but how many times have we seen a rookie in a midfield car run well early on and disappear by the time the European season begins. |

Mercedes for obvious reasons. Raikkonen for doing something. Nasr for an solid debut drive that yielded a great result. |

Hamilton drove a perfect race, Nasr had a good debut and managed (just) not to get lapped, and Sauber who've built themselves a pretty decent car (of course, I'm ignoring all of the legal bollocks surrounding them atm). |

Every 17 can do, at least, that... again, I'm biased but please do tell me how many 17 year olds you know that 1: can drive a F1 car at all, 2: drive it around fast without making major mistakes and 3: get it of the grid without running into others. Sainz had a better weekend but he did not obliterate him like Alonso did to Raikonen last year for example. |

Just look past the age thing, he did a pretty good job for a debutant. Teams these days seem to expect that a debutant will give 100% on the first race. Australia is traditionally good for the Toro Rosso cars, they almost always score points there. |

Mercedes will keep this pace through the year, just perfect and Sauber took advantage and was able to secure important points while most people wasted their chances, great performance |

Hamilton: Probably the most perfect weekend that I can remember from him, not a single mistake in practice, qualifying or the race. Vettel: Leaving Red Bull at the right time. A good drive and probably restored his repuation amongst many. Sauber: They were good for once. |
