It should be Hulkenberg, or perhaps Williams can give Alex Lynn a chance.

Here's an intersting video how the F1 cars will look like in 2017 - as a status quo of the negotiations:

And the according article, albeit in German.

In 2017 you mean. Just a typo, can happen sometimes.

There are several things i notice right away.

Bigger rear tires, barge-board are back, the fin at the sidepod has an angle

Rearwing
- endplates. ( they look a bitt like the A1GP in the beginning )
- Height - Width ( they seem to get ther old spec back)

Frontwing.
- Width ( Just a wide as the car )
- Angle (look a bitt as swept wings from airliners)

Way too complicated front wing, plz simplify and remove all those elements.

Eric Boullier to Autosport.com wrote:
"We like the idea that a GP2 team, [such as] ART, could come along and buy or rent two McLarens," Boullier told F1 Racing.

"Straight away they would be competitive, without all the investment."

GP3 would win because they're more reliable

I agree, extra winglets should be banned, just two main planes is enough.

Rear diffuser is also way bigger. I like the rear wing, sidepod angle and barge board changes. Together with wider rear tires that gives the cars nice aggressive looks. Too bad we have to wait 1,5 years until these cars make their debut.

Sorry, yeah, 2017. I edited the post :)

The article said that they are yet in talk about simplifying the front wing and reducing the wheelbase, which I think are great points. Current F1 cars are way too long. The wider rear tyres and the lower, wider rear wing make it more visually appealing, especially when you look at the side by side comparison. I'm curious how the cars will turn out

It does look a lot nicer. I've never been a fan of the narrower rear wings. I guess the only problem is that a wider rear wing will create more dirty air, which is already quite a problem. They decided against ground effect cars, didn't they? That probably would have been the best solution.

Williams could be looking at Button to replace Bottas if he ends up moving elsewhere & McLaren decide to go with Magnussen or Vandoorne:

Now that would be poetic - Button going back to his first team, which in all likelihood would be his last.

"Ericsson & Nasr, best Sauber duo ever!!!"

Ooookay? Better than Heidfeld and Räikkönen/Kubica? Herbert and Frentzen? Pescarolo and Thackwell? Better than Michael Schumacher and Karl Wendlinger?!

I always thought after the way the williams vs BAR court case saga played out that Jenson was still owed the second year on his contract. Would be pretty tast for Sir Frank to option that now to keep him in the sport.

If Button goes to Williams then Massa really needs to be shown the door. Otherwise they'll be two drivers nudging 40 years old in a team. Williams can replace Massa with Nasr to retain the Brazilian money. They'll have some spare change coming from Ferrari when they buy Bottas out of his contract.

I agree, personally I don't think he ever should've been shown the entrance door in the first place.
