Shit. What horrible news to wake up to. Hope Bianchi is okay.

You're assuming the tractor is an immovable object, it isn't and could easily have been pushed away from the car upon impact.

fwiw the amount of damage to the rear of the car suggests that took the brunt of the impact to me.

What i mean is that, if the car actually went under the tractor, it would have been most likely stuck under it, which would mean that the tractor would be unable to move forward or backward. However, if the car did hit what looks like the tractor's engine/counter weight, the tractor could have move forward to free the car...But again, we're only trying to figure out something we haven't seen.

Bernie and Max decided after Imola 94 that no replays would be shown until condition of driver was known

They still have shown most accident quite immediately, for example Kubica's Canada crash.

TV directors have direct feed from medical personnel's radios, there is a code system in place, it's quiet simple.

, yes I understand what you're saying, maybe it was a glancing blow, we'll probably never know though.

I think it's common procedure when there's a serious accident, they'll make an inquiry.

unless I'm just not seeing it, or because it did went under it, why is there no real damage or marks to be seen on the recovery vehicle?

Guys dont forget that Sutils Rear Wing also was ripped apart after Bianchi hitted the Recovery Vehicle.

Indicates that the Tractor moved a lot at impact

In the last photo posted by tbk, on the bottom left side of the back of the tractor, near to where the wheels are, is red paint transfer, it's on the underside of the panel so a bit hard to see.

Looking at the last pic TBK posted - does it look like the cockpit headrest padding is broken in two? Half of it has been put on the engine, the other half is by the front on the ground.

Yup, but they are just compressed foam layered with a solid skin, you could break them with your hands if you wanted. It is unusual to see one broken though.

Yea, I know they're not strong things. Not seen one break in a crash though. Could be they broke it taking it out.

Sutil's rear wing was not damaged.
