Yea, it's also missing the Senna "S" on the appendage.

Hasn't the Senna S been missing for a couple of years now?

I know they had it on for both 2012 and 2013. In testing this year it was still on the front wing.

Edit: A pic I took at Montreal 2012:

About the Senna's S, as far as I know, they have never dropped it really. It's nice that tomorrow we will be having the tests back! It's been quite a while already.

Some years the Senna S has been more difficult to spot. Like during the BMW era it was often inside of the wing supports or on the wing under the nose tip.

Spy shot from a filming day apparently, but can't confirm it 100%.

so how come these two 'parts' on the front nose on the Lotus are not the same length? What is the advantage of this? seems very weird and out of shape.

Could perhaps have something with if a track is clockwise or anti-clockwise? (no bloody idea lol)

Apparently it's to do with the crash test and whether one tusk is supporting the other. No-one is 100% sure.

- I asked Scarbs about that and he said there's no real effect.

It thought it was only allowed to have one nose (don't know how it's described exactly) and with the different length it's legal in the regulations, even though they are practically two noses.

Now i'm no design genius.....but with the longer tusk containing the crash structure on the Renault, wouldn't the other shorter side of the nose cone be weaker? and wouldn't that mean that in the event of a crash, the energy wouldn't be dispersed evenly?

Scarbs reports that the Renault unit is still fucked and will be for at least the first few races; the ERS-K has been poorly designed and is malfunctioning and, as such, cannot be used at full power without breaking the engine.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
