The only wet Monaco qualifying session im aware of was in 1965.

The pole from Graham Hill a 1:32.5 must have been before or after the rain I presume

In those days they had 'Qualifying practice' on both Friday and Saturday, I believe ... a bit like MotoGP qualifying until recently, sometimes a dry time from Friday would take pole if nobody improve on Saturday.

That said, the lap was actually quicker back then with old St Devote, old sea-front chicane, no swimming pool and no Rascase ... I think my laptimes in GPL were around 1:20 or so in the dry, so 1:32 in the wet could be about right ...

Mika Salo had talked to some Ferrari guy who told that Massa will not take part in qualifying.

Looks like we'll see action in the beginning, as no one knows if it rain again. But track is basically dry atm.

Shades of the 90's. Good old fashioned mechanical failiure.

Useful website for all the weather enthusiasts: http://meteoalerte.com/france/?area=se
Real time weather, it gathers info from nearby airports and weather stations, and locals can also report current conditions. Wind, rain, unusual temperatures and all the stuff. Obviously the little rain clouds are what you're looking for. Hover over the icons and you'll see detailed text, in French but you should still understand when it happened, how many mm of rain, wind speeds, etc. If the icon is red it's recent info, blue is older.
Beware that weather usually goes from West to East in France (look at all the wind icons going in that direction), so if it's raining on the left part of the map, it may rain in Monaco later on (or not!).
Not much going on at the moment though.
