We definitely agree on that last bit. The reason why Ferrari did those thing are because of Alonso's title position versus Massa. The only way Ferrari's attitude towards Felipe will change is if we have another 1999 type situation on our hands.

Kals, one of the Team Herbert's Sorry Ankals has had Massa down for victory since midweek.

If I was to level a criticism at Massa, he seems a bit dim. Now, this may just be a lack of confidence in the language when being interviewed, but I don't have confidence in him being able to read a race and know that's the right thing to do. It hit him in Melbourne.

He's in the eternal dilemma...

Race for Ferrari and not win races at the front of the field in one of the best cars

Leave Ferrari and not win races for FI/Sauber (at best) and not win races in the midfield....

At least this way he gets people talking about him and feeling sorry for him.
It seems a Sauber drive will lead to him being pretty anonymous if he'd have left after last year.

Pay has to be good too. As in, he's actually getting paid instead of having to bring money....

Funny face guy at Red Bull is in the same boat too, team prefers team mate, but best car and occasional wins so what is a bloke to do?

Some of those "blocking" penalties are just insane, there are places where it's almost impossible to give space, it's not something done on purpose to destroy the other drivers lap, but there are situations where the traffic is natural, FIA exagerates a lot in those penalties.

About Paul's engineer, it's ridiculous that reaction he had, it's not him risking his life in a F1 car, the driver has all the rights to feel unhappy and unsatisfied with the team's decision and all that because of a head shake? It seems that Paul and FI are not getting well anymore, I don't know how his contract is and how Mercedes may have influence on that, but this is something that makes me believe Paul may not end the season at FI and with Bianchi doing so well in Marussia I wouldn't be surprised if he ends the season at Paul's seat. I can't recall and engineer saying anything like this to a driver, the only thing I can recall like that was Vettel engineer asking him to not make any hand signs to the race directors when he was punished in Barcelona, but it was a completelly differente scenario.

Has there ever been a more boring and bland driver than Di Resta? I mean even Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher had more personality than Di Resta. I agree with Lucasjeha, he is on the way out.....which means all we will hear from SKY sports is how sublime he was, one of the greats....but there was always a reason why he was just anonymous in the race.

I don`t hate Di Resta, I just can`t connect with him, which makes me not give a shit about him.

Di Resta isn't boring. That's just what Scottish people look like when they aren't allowed to eat chips.

I think the problem with Di Resta is that he was a very good DTM driver, but he never really fitted in F1, he was always that driver you almost forget he's in the track, Sutil was away for a year, almost didn't tested in the pre season and he's doing better than Di Resta, things are getting very complicated for Paul.

I met Di Resta last year when the FOTA fans forum came to NYC. To that point I was a fan but he disappointed me. He was completely uninterested in being at the event and made little to no effort to connect with the fans, which was the opposite of Pic and Perez.

He's a good driver but lacks presense or a decent persona.

It's simple as sh*t, if Felipe Massa wants to achieve anything in his carreer, or gain something like respect, he should do it this race/year. He'll be replaced at the end of this season, in the best case next year. No driver at Ferrari will admit it, there'll always be a 2nd driver, no matter his performance, it's just the way the team wants it to be.

If Felipe goes for his own result, he might have a chance to finish the season in front of Alonso. I wonder if he has the balls to do so. If he has, some people might remember him for some years. If he hasn't, no one will.

Not knowing any Scots personally, does that make David Coulthard outragously outlandish?

According to a guy that claims to be on Kuala Lumour, which I saw on another forum, it's raining heavily now.

But given the heat, it could all dry up even before warm up lap, if it stops soon, as is the typical thing in equatorial places

They ended the race together and diresta was instructed not to pass (so I understand, perhaps to defend both positions considering sutil tyres). Ok sutils race tactic was more exciting and might have had more potential but they did end together.
I'm not a huge fan of diresta but he can drive. Just dull, like andy Murray.

This is why Kimi was penalized.
