Quite a lot of Bottas for this race. They might have chosen well. I refused to pick him there because it is one of five circuits where he didn't do FP1 last year.

It's going to be interesting to see how the points played out after this race. With Vergne apparently receiving a post race penalty I'll definitely not be leading, and as such will not win the overall competition.

So I've completed the scores and will try to post them tomorrow. All I'll say now is that there are only 5 people in play for the overall title. Those 5 are not the most obvious from analyzing the recent scoring. For instance, I'm now 2nd but am also out of the title hunt.

Vettel once more. However no-one picked him which means the winner of this round is iks who picked Grosjean.

I think the highlight of the race was Bottas, not just because of his ability to take what has been a terrible car in 2013 to his maiden points and thus outscore his obnoxious team-mate 4x but also because he was one of the top picks and also could have been the title deciding driver in this competition. An overwhelming 25% of the players chose #BOTTAS (that was for you Phil1993) even though he'd never driven this circuit before.

Damn and blast. While I didn't want to win my own competition I am disappointed that Vergne's last lap skirmish effectively wrote me out. Before that post-race penalty I was sitting pretty at the top still. But now that four place swing has placed a new person atop. pimmy assumes the lead, kals dropping to second and Soul Reaver sits in third.

In less than 7 days we will crown our champion, but while there are 19 people in contention (based on points available) the champion will be from a select group of five. Those five are highlighted in blue and their selections for Brazil (highlighted next to their name) are the reason why these are the only people still in contention for the title. In reality though, the winner will be either pimmy or Soul Reaver. Everyone else in the list has one of these same drivers, which means they cannot overhaul the person ahead. For instance, both myself and pimmy have picked Hulkenberg.

With 1 round remaining 20 points is the gap to a top 3 finish. So heading to Brazil, here's who has now been eliminated from the competition...
