Hope Caterham didn't ask for any money, they might not see it for a while.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

A sensible decision. After all, it has been some 6 years since Ralf last competed in F1.

I think it's unfair what McLaren did to Perez. Everyone knew the 2013 car wasn't competitive enough, besides you had to consider it was his first year on that team. But anyways...they might know what they're doing because McLaren in the other hand has a tradition to ensure so...let's see how it's going to be like from 2014 onwards.

About Massa on Williams....got nothing to say....I stopped supporting Williams after they sacked Bruno Senna....now they're bringing a driver who hasn't convinced in the last 4 years...I don't know.

Lets face it, Perez was there as bait to attract Telmex.

That hasn't happened so they'd rather invest in their own driver program than keep around someone who was only there to lure sponsorship.

They'll have Jenson for 1 or 2 more years, more than enough time for Kevin to get the rookie syndrome out of his system then start leading the team.

At least, I'm assuming that's their gameplan anyway.

You're assuming that McLaren are intelligent enough to have a gameplan?

The process that Lotus went through before picking Kovalainen sounds a bit silly. They first ask Hülkenberg to come over, he refuses. Then they ask Schumacher, he refuses. Now Valsecchi is building his hopes up and then they pick Kovalainen.

Maybe they picked Kovalainen because they only need to add N-letter to their tweets. Or maybe because Niceman is probably the only driver who's not upset if he get's curse words to his radio. Or they picked Kovalainen because he don't make negative comments in front of media. Or maybe because Kovalainen was the first driver who didn't refuse to drive without a wage.

Anyhow, it's the first time when two Finnish drivers are in the same team during the same season. Also, Kovalainen was driver for Renault back in 2007 so he makes a comeback to the team, but he also makes a comeback to Lotus, since that's what Caterham was called in 2010 and 2011. He's also the fourth Finn to drive for Lotus, Häkkinen, Salo and Räikkönen being the predecessors.

Perez is already saying it will be difficult to stay in F1. He doesn't want to sign for just any team just to be in F1. Because of the late decision, its harder for him to get a decent seat.

Autosport also reporting that Nelson Piquet Sr. had heartsurgery.

I thought I'd successfully done the Lotus/Lotus story to death, but now I have to write about Kovalainen's career. Trying to word it is hard :p

David Ward has withdrawn from the FIA elections.
