Going back to the cars, the cars from the late 80's and early 90's are my favorites. From any series

Someone post in a late 90s Champcar Reynard and be done with the thread.

Cheating, I know, but dear GOD they were beautiful cars

Also every time I look back on the 2002-2008 era I still think those cars are ugly as hell.
Ridiculous aerodynamic extras all over the car, no smooth surfaces, grooved tyres.
No thanks.

still better than the cars from 2009 onwards

Hell no. Just no.

Codename is 100% right.

The only part of that era I miss are the viking horns. Overall the cars were ugly as f**k!

Some lovely cars in this thread. Can't believe there's no love for the Leyton House, though.

Or the Shadow.

one of my late 90's favourites was the McLaren MP4/12, the first with West Silver Arrow livery

maybe that was the inspiration for the name of MP4/12C road car :p

An article from May 2012. Check out the figure listed, how coincidental...

How can an minister of sport miss such a thing? In the autosport world is was widly know that Maldonado paid around 30 million dollars a year. And guys like Viso, Checotto and Duno aren't racing so long because of their talent...

Sometimes though, major fraud isn't that obvious even if it is staring you in the face.

It just sound as an easy way out. Under Chavez this probably wouldn't have become a problem, but I guess the current leaders aren't that fond on motor racing.

Susie Wolff
Williams have Susie listed as there development driver, As far as im aware they don't have a 3rd/Reserve driver.

Does Susie even have a super license?

If they are forced to park Maldonado I could see Red Bull been interested in paying them to put Da Costa in the car as I believe they did when they put Ricciardo in the HRT in Mid-2011 before moving him to STR the following year.

Although im not sure on his super license status?

They could probably get a conditional Superlicense granted to any driver they wanted so long as they are proven as capable in high-end machinery.

I would think Juncadella would be first choice as he did the YDT but they could also put Bird in as a favour to Mercedes.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I think Susie got the superlicense after doing YDT.

I like Susie but she's not good enough to drive that car.
