I love that second to last turn, just forbid running out of it during race.

Grosjean has a gearbox issue.

Happy hour at the end of the practice, I was missing that.

Edit: I mean using the tarmac run-off, just like the old T1 at Silverstone.

Rubens and TK at Ferrari. For Massa I guess.

There's more rubber on the run off than onto the track.

If I was the projector, I would make one track with a lot of turns easy to make a mistake like this one, and then put gravel traps. :)

Narain was just within 107% up until Vettel went a full second quicker than the previous best. HRT have no chance of qualifying if he does that again in Q1.

Won't be a case of who's on pole, it'll be a case of by how much Vettel will be on pole by.

I actually don't know what to say :p
edit: oh, my fault, thought that Vettel was 1sec in front again. But even 7 tenths is much.

Why were Sky so eager to get off the air? They didn't even show the result of the session, it's not like they have other programs that need to be shown on the channel. Can't imagine anyone willing to pay for coverage like that

ON sky all year we've had this:

Still I've been watching OnBoard-Mix via the SPEED stream as its not as far behind the TV coverage as Sky's online feeds are. Sky's online feeds are 25-30 seconds behind the TV feed, SPEED's is only 7 seconds behind. Quality of the speed streams isn't as good though.

BTW heard something on the pits channel at the end of the session about a potential gearbox issue for Vettel.

Vettel:
"I'd like you to check, I did a burnout & lost drive with 1st gear & it went to anti-stall afterwards, I can go back to 1st but have a look".

Team:
"Sebastien do not use 1st gear"

Watching an OnBoard with Karthikeyan & that car looks horrific to drive, Its no wonder they were so slow yesterday. Its sliding around everywhere, can't get the power down, late to open DRS & there having to brake really early.

Know the HRT has kinda always been a bit like that but it seems 10x worse here than I've seen on other tracks.

I think it's because of slippery track surface because, RBR apart, all other cars are sliding way more than usual, too. Yesterday people couldn't simply put a lap together on options, sliding 3 to 4 times each lap, at least
