Just Ecclestone negotiating hard, trying to get a good deal out of it.

More like Ecclestone not realising the world is not the same it was 6 years ago.

Quote:
Ecclestone has traditionally been eager for fees to increase, but amid a worldwide financial slowdown a number of events have requested that costs are reduced, and Singapore is no exception.

That's their first mistake, requesting.

Bernie would be mad to let Singapore go. It's just tactics. I guess he slipped a bit of insider info to someone, who slipped it to a few journalists...

However, if he were to put his hand down on Korea, I'd have no problem.

One McLaren driver happy with balance, one isn't. Guess which way around.

They said on Sky that his regular engineer (Andy Latham) isn't there this weekend as his wife is expecting a baby.

In FP2 Kimi was doing identical lap times with Lewis when they both were doing long runs.

This is an awesome experience.

Going to the first GP2 race now, then practice and qualy for F1. I'm seating just over where the cars go inside the last tunnel. Walking just a few meters away from the track is great, not so much for the ears!

Rooting for Kimi more and more. I'll laugh hard If he manages to pull this off and rob the championship by mere consistency, as he almost did in 2003. Or even better, without winning a single race
