Michael was away with the fairies. No idea what was going on there. Non-driver award goes to whoever's conducting Button's pit strategy. Sends him out for the final stint on softs...and then pits him 5 laps later for mediums. Congratulations, you have turned a possible 4th into a 6th. |

Mercedes in Schumi's hands had little speed throughout the weekend, so the stall and DTP almost saved his blushes as it meant he didn't have to amble around trying to overtake Toro Rosso's. So farce of the race was Maldonado, for messing up a great grid spot and then doing his typical mid-race clumsy reckless best, which his much (ignorantly) maligned team-mate battled toward the sharp end. |

It just seemed, watching it live, that he couldn't avoid the collision because he had an oversteer. I think his past recent crashes influenced this. At least this time, it didn't appear to be an avoidable contact. And it was a rather small one, tbh |
