Not a single retirement due to mechanical failure or crash...think we have this year a couple of 24/24 finishes.

So last time I said Nico needed to step up and prove himself.

I can eat the humble pie.

2nd half of the 2nd half. :D

yep. Most of the race was utterly dull and I'm not gonna carried away with the madness in the end and give this a 10

Such a slow burner of a race, FIA sabotaged their own DRS to prevent overtaking being too easy, which led to a boring early lap stint (but hey, what else can you do with a straight that stupidly long)

But once it got going, wahey, what a race :)

I think we had our Ben Edwards Hyper mode too when Grosjean and Maldonado were going side by side through about 5 corners, best commentary so far for the BBC

Might watch the race again on a Sky stream to see how they did, I'm in the mood and have got some time until BTCC ;)

So we've got a rosbeg taking his 1st victory, lots of different race winners and a genius in a rubbish Ferrari. It's 1982 all over again!

Schumacher's retirement was due to a mechanical failure, wasn't it?

I'm off to a BBQ in Brackley later!

Making only two stops when pretty much everyone else made three: Excellent.

Taking your first win: Incredible.

Making a load of armchair experts look stupid: Priceless.
