Anyone know why it went yellow in the last corner on the last lap, right at the end?

My guess is that Ricciardo made a mistake somewhere.

I think Ricciardo had an off.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I really don't know how to think about these 2012 cars.
I think it's realistic to think that Red Bull, McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari, Lotus and Sauber are on the same level and can ALL win races.
Now it comes to the tracks. McLaren for example will be good at tracks like Melbourne and Monaco while Ferrari will have a good pace in any rain-race!
Lotus and Sauber will need luck and different circumstances in a race. Mercedes seem to be good at high-speed tracks. They will look good in Monza and Spa, as well.
If it continues like that, we will have the greatest season ever in the history of Formula 1 with around 8 title-candidates. (took out Massa and Grosjean). It will be important to finish in good positions every race like Lewis does.
Rosberg didn't score points in 2 races, but now scored 25.
I just hope Ferrari improves! :)

I think McLaren will be kicking themselves that they aren't further ahead considering the speed advantage they have. Bahrain should be interesting as the track temperatures will be significantly higher.

Think they'll be fine. They have the only car to have shown itself to be consistently quick in all conditions. The flyaway races are always madness. It's very much Lewis versus Jenson for the title imo.

An excellent race I must say. I am pleased to see a first time winner today (it would be nice if it was the second time today if Perez won at Sepang)

I am so relieved to see the BBC coverage of the race like if it has gone back to normal and with live subtitles!

Getting a bit tired of races that could end up with epic finishes getting ruined due to being botched in pitlane though.

I'm happy for Nico, no question, but how much more sweet would his first win have been if he'd held off a charging Button to take the flag?

Bonus points for a Mark Webber exhaust stand btw...

It's Sunday mornings like these which make the license fee worthwhile. Onwards to the forum!

Damn, I wish there was a BBC+1, though Bahrain highlights are going to finish just as I get home from work.

Hopefully a similiar race today, I really couldn't believe it around Lap 40 when from 2nd to what must have been about 14th were still all nose to tail.

Didn't miss Brundle at all in that race, Edwards & DC did a pretty stellar job

I agree. If I had SkySports and BBC I would choose to watch the BBC when they show the race live.

DC and MB are both great. I chose BBC purely because Ben Edwards >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Crofty.

3 races, 3 different winners for 3 different teams and only a solitary podium for Red Bull.
