"I was expecting to be sweating a lot"

I think someone got excited, if he's listening

Looking at the aeriel view, they should use the alternative layout at Turn 4 - fast on the inside :D

See, there is gravel

Indian marshals completely lost as to what to do. Photographer deciding fuck safety regulations, he'll climb the fence if he wants and wander around the run off areas.

Welcome to India.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

For a track so short, they have the S1 timing beam pretty far into the lap

As Mika Hakkinen used to say (and do), the point is you are showing you are paying attention to the situation, and not just blatantly ignoring it. Mika often gave a small wave to show he was aware of what was going on, but I think they put an end to that.

Wasn't that at Monaco, where there was a yellow somewhere, Mika put his hand in the air saying he was aware, but still got the fastest lap and pole position? Or was that someone else?

Oh, that's interesting.

The elevations are artificial.

I watched a couple of laps now and I have to agree. The circuit seems to have a very nice flow, quite a challenge.

Mika used to do it all the time, did it at Spa at high speed too. No idea if he did it at Monaco, probably did. :P

Well, Spa and Suzuka are indubitably wonderful tracks, but the races there have sucked often. Bad track doesn't always mean bad racing and vice versa.
