12:06 Well Caterham certainly has looked okay today. Only four tenths of Ferrari so far, so could be a good year for Norfolk - or a bad one for Maranello. Very early days though...

Ted Kravitz just said on Sky that McLaren have suffered a small problem with the exhaust burning the floor.

Sauber also had a small piece fall off the car on the start straght.

I've never really looked at testing photos before and been kind of turned off looking at them like this. Not getting into the nose on EVERY car (-1) as much as I'd love to see this as a SINGLE example chosen by a team. It's really not satisfying seeing it on the cars on the track. I was expecting it to be better on track.

The Ferrari looks hilariously bad on track, I mean they're all ugly with that nose, but the Ferrari takes it to a new level.

Shame about the nose, really, because the cars would looks great without that step

I don't like to moan, but this cars are the worst cars ever made. Even worse than 2009.

The Lego-Ferrari has the same air intake as they had with their A1GP car. If that was a bennefit, shouldn't they have realised it earlier?

According to Finnish media, Kimi Räikkönen set a 1.19,6 time and is fastest man on the track. :flag:

A long time ago Prost was sacked because he said the Ferrari drove like a truck.

Now it 'looks' like a truck... :/

I've read that Kimi's fastest lap was set just as a load of Lotus's sponsor representatives arived at the track.

With the whole sale of Proton and the new buyers offloading Group Lotus I'm not surprised they'd pull a Prost F1.

Caterham done for the day, broken starter shaft.

Edit: Kobayashi stopped on the main straight, red flag.
