ok, good pass, but did nobody see Vettel passing Rosberg round the outside of Blanchimont in the wet?

I seen it. But as usual people said it's all the tyres and Vettel can't race.

Webbers wasn't technically a good pass, but an incredibly brave one, and that is sometimes more awesome than a well executed pass. It was fantastic to watch.

Whilst you can somewhat run wide at Blanchimont, Eau Rouge doesn't forgive. That's what makes that overtake better.

And the fact the last person to try that was Stefan Bellof. Who died about half a second later.

I'm sure Massa and Montoya tried in 2004.

I'm sure I saw some GP2 guys do it last weekend.

And Webber didn't pass Alonso in Eau Rouge, but just before.

Yes he did, that turn is Eau Rouge. The left kink right at the bottom.

Anyway, watching the race edit - Smedley getting mad at Massa, lmao

Eau Rouge forgives plenty now. Lot's of cars ran wide this week missing the 3rd apex.

But sitting in the cockpit, you cant see the runoff area or where the tyre barriers are. It'd be a massive gamble to go on side by side, hoping the tyres weren't in your way.

I would have liked to see that crash though, could have been quite spectacular.

Think there's been more than a few since then - last one I can remember ending very badly was Schneider in the DTM a few years back.

You should not make any more comments on this matter.

I love Webber's pass but I like Button's two cars in one turn around the outside move more...

LOL F1 2011, debating about which pass is best instead of why we're not having any! :p

There's been so many great battles outside drs-zones that it's hard to make a top10 out of them. Highlight reels could probably be longer than what whole last decade provided. Great season!
