Spa just seems better here. Plus is it me, or are the TV cameras better than today too?

To be honest, I don't care how dull some of the races were back then, I'd trade 2011 for that in any moment. F1 is such a joke nowadays.

So did every other circuit but nothing is going to bring them back. Lets just enjoy the memories and move on.

I'd trade today's F1 for just a mere 5 years ago. But it's still something I look forward to for my weekends :)

Spa was awesome and always will be. I'm very happy how this year's GP turned out, wasn't expecting it to be that good.

Someone at McLaren should give Lewis a smack on the head, how many times is he going to get involved in these sorts of incidents which are mostly his fault ? You'll never take your second title that way. You need to know when to be agressive and when to yield and fight for another day. You have to be aware of other drivers on the track, you don't have the track for yourself. Lewis thinks he's the greatest of all time and that everybody automatically brakes and gets out of the way when he's closing in on another car. He's got a long way to go before that's ever gonna happen...

I love the fact how Button has a "stand back, watch and learn"-trick whenever Lewis gets it wrong and shows him how it's done if you keep your cool, perfect examples being Canada and Spa.

I prefer Hamilton's aggresive approach over Button's conservative sit-and-wait approach.
In fact, my respect for Hamilton is growing and growing. I like how he takes risk to achieve his aims, even if it's a bit of a 50-50.
Also the fact that he takes blame is something I like very much (I wouldn't see it happen in the past).

His incident with Kobayashi has nothing to do with taking risk....

The majority of the races 5 or 6 years ago were incredibly dull, bar one or two. I'd take 2011 races over them anyday.

As for Hamilton, I agree with the majority. He needs a talking too, even a mentor or someone to act as guidance as he's not using his head. The incident with Kobayashi was mind boggling.

He doesn't think ahead, that's the majority of his problem. It's there and then, not wait a little further down the line with him.

I wrote this on F1Zone.net after the race:

"Lewis, like in 2010, is overdriving. He's so frustrated at seeing Vettel in the perfect Red Bull world and he wants in. He won't win another title until he calms down and realises that he has to finish races at the front and not make silly errors. In F1 2011, you get more than one chance. Prior to 2011, you had to take the chance and that was what Lewis was so brilliant at doing, but now overtaking is so easy, you have to bide your time and he hasn't seemed to grasp that. People talk about Hamilton being the pass master - and he is still very good at it - but this season both Button and Vettel have made critical race winning passes and not one of them has resulted in an accident. The same cannot be said for Hamilton."

I think it goes further than that, I think that he is sucumbing to the same disease that Button suffered in 2001. He is, probably due to him coming under XIX, thinking about his image and his name value more than he is his on-track performance. He is going into every race thinking he has to win, and he has to beat his team-mate, because that is the only way he'll get his face on the back page of every newspaper the next day, and on every news bulletin.

There is an easy solution, though, and that is to get Anthony back involved in the running of his life.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

This 100%. I think it was picked up in Autosport magazine this week

8. Saw it live at the track and the first part was crazy. When Rosberg came by in the lead I couldn't figure out how he got there in only 3 corners.

After the safety car it was easy to follow the race unfold, so I guess that made it boring. Must watch my recording to find out if that's true. but my points won't change.

exactly this
