It is for Whiting, not calling SC for that blown up Renault was almost criminal. I bet if Charlie had to go on track to clean it up himself he would have called that SC immediately. It's only a matter of time before we see an incident involvinng a Marshal being hurt. Then to give Hamilton a penalty on safety grounds is dubious (I know charlie didn't decide that). Racing incident for me, no one got hit or lost position but Lewis, so he already had been penalised.

So now the title is over, can we have another 8 amazing races please? This feels reminiscent of 2009, only with awesome races.

He also said it was a completely different type of failure, but it wasn't really. The common issue is the front moving exhaust bringing the fire forward, rather than backwards.

Edit: Martin is right. The explosion was due to something beside the exhaust getting incredibly hot. So your options are KERS battery or ECU Battery.

2 rights don't make a wrong. Just because he made a wrong call there, doesn't mean you can then suddenly disregard safety.

He spun the car round on purpose in front of oncoming traffic. Not sure what you can do more wrong than that. He may have made an error, rather than a calculated move, but it still isn't acceptable.

Lewis giving a very grown up interview. Showing he can drive brilliantly and be mature at the same time. He made a silly mistake, but he apologised. Good man Lewis.

RT @tiff_tv: 'Didn't see Di Resta' Lewis?!!! That'll be the car that was coming straight at you when you were pointing the wrong way …

McLaren told Jenson to pit behind Lewis but he refused, then they told him to stay out.
