why? As said last race, I really don't understand the Di Resta hype. You could say something about rookie beating his teammate, but he even didn't do it today. And d'Ambrosio did do it, with his teammate having an upgraded car and he hasn't. So go for Jerome!

He was ahead of his team mate by 4 places when the car failed. Yeah d'Ambrosio beat Glock, but given Glock didn't even start I find it hard to give him credit for that.

5. First part was alright. But the second part was really boring. And the DRS zone was way too long. They just flew past the other cars. That's just not racing.

Di Resta: could have been pitstops. But I honestly don't know.
d'Ambrosio: faster than Glock in every session, except FP1 where he lost out with a couple of hundreds of a second.

Schumacher was faster than Rosberg in FP. Check out how that worked out. di Resta was ahead when the stops had shaken out, by several cars. He leaped cars each stint.

Think what you want, I don't care - but there is a rookie who is matching and often beating a team mate who is quite highly rated by a good amount of people. That to me is worth a "shout", which is what I did.

Brundle seems to have got his start catchphrase of 'look but never stare'

how can anyone give this shit anything higher than a 6? winner never in doubt, plus it's the most boring derp of all time. it was decent but nothing to write home about, definitely nowhere close to China.

Just don't bother watching F1 anymore.

Great race again, 8.

Virgin had problems with the exhaust system on Glock's car so they had to change it back to the old system. And both Glock and D'Ambrosio had a new front wing. So really there cars weren't that much different.

Martin Brundle summing up my thoughts on the DRS in a much more eloquent way than I ever could. Kudos Martin

7 - First half was great, but it calmed down a bit in the second half. Lots of action, but not as good as China

Dear Wil

Turkey has no official religion, alcohol is legal.

Dear Ellis.

They do however use Fizzy rose water in Bahrain, Turkey and Abu Dhabi as "A sign of respect for those who may not drink due to the majority religion in the country"

Give it 10 years, and the Politically Correct group may get it used at the British GP too!

Lots of love back at ya

Wil :)

You will never, ever get a drink off one of these bottles. Don't worry, you'll see drivers celebrating with a fizzy drink on TV no matter its chemical composition.

In any country -bar some shitty ones- where you travel as a tourist or for business, you will be allowed to purchase and drink alcohol with few or no restriction.

Therefore, take your intolerant letter-formatted speech elsewhere and talk about something like, you know, racecars and stuff.

Alonso - he was unlucky not to finish 2nd. Did well to keep the Red Bull's fairly close

Alonso. Great drive and nice way to bounce back after being poor in China.

Kudos to Vettel, Webber, Buemi and Kobayashi too.

7. The opening half of the race was great then it died down so much even Brundle and DC were struggling to find topics to talk about before picking up at the end.

It probably would have been much higher if the director hadn't been useless for large amounts of the race.

Still voting as this was any other given year of F1.

In some ways this was better than China. WAY BETTER THAN CHINA IN SOME WAYS!!!! No fakiness of battles due to crazy qualifying and mixed strategies. This time everyone knew what they were doing and we still had a fantastic race. Formula one finally being the top of the class. I really enjoyed the race because of this. I think I never looked forward for the next races not only hoping, but trusting that we'll have a fantastic, if not the best year ever.

"OMG BUT THE RACE HAD NO BATTLE FOR THE LEAD THIS IS A FARCE SHIT 00000000" Go to hell you guys who can only enjoy the battle for the lead. I'm felling very very sorry for you.

Thanks to the sleeping director much of the action was missed or at least not seen live. Nonetheless, this must be the most entertaining race in Turkey ever, and all that comes without any crashes or SCs.
I give it a strong 9. The one missing points is due to Vettel's unmerciful dominating - or lack of problems.
