the weather pattern is for 90% rain on Monday. If it moves faster we could still see some on Sunday.

Btw, last year we had a 10% chance of rain, and it was nearly wet! I remember it kept me excited for most of the race, seeing the clouds bubble up and growing darker and darker.

Seem to remember the Le Mans Series race in 2006 here being wet. Was a bit chaotic

It doesn't matter about the rain, but the ambient temperatures. A maximum of 13c is very cold and that is going to hurt the tyres

Should be warmer on Sunday.

But lower temps mean less heat into the tyres, which would mean less tyre wear ?

But equally, lower tyre temperature would mean less grip as well. And if it rains, it doesn't matter.

Does anybody remember the massive rain during WTCC 2005 or 2006 event? Track flooded, mud everywhere.

Honestly, what is the point of those tyre markings?? It still will be difficult to identify the compound from onboard. I thought the solution they had in Shanghai and Sepang was perfect for both external and internal views.

Slightly updated Sauber livery

GP2 & GP3 running means that there are more Pirelli tyres being used, and therefore more marbles. Woo.

2005 sprint race started wet and it dried out. Kovalainen won the race starting around 10th and Rosberg was 2nd starting around 15th IIRC. It was much about the time when you changed to the dry tyres.
