I don't know if someone else was going to do this but I though this is a good idea. You can take all the ratings from the Grand Prix together and than take the average, but than you'll only get the ratings for the 2010 races, not for the season alone. So, what's your opinion?

I think we saw one of the most fantastic seasons in years, maybe in the history of F1. For a number of different reasons we had a lot of great races. The championship wasn't decided untill the very end, no less than 4 drivers still had a chance. I enjoyed it from the very beginning and it makes me wonder why we still need to change all those things about the cars and rules etc.

What do you guys think?

I gave it a 9. Plenty of action, a pretty interesting development war, controversy, and 4 drivers who could technically win the championship going into the last race. Only let down by races like Bahrain. Just need to get the cars sorted so that they can actually pass each other!

I gave it a 9.

The last few seasosn I lost so much interest in F1 that I didn't cared much at the beggining of the season, but this season was great and fun and exciting at times.

8

On the plus side:

- the closest title battle ever in terms of the number of guys realistically competing for it, and a 4 way decider

- some decent races

- some intriguing sub-plots

- some classic moments that will be played over and over again forever (although they're overplayed already :p)

On the minus side:

- the racing wasn't great - the first and last races summed it up

- there was no stand out, jaw-dropping, brilliant classic race - Canada was the best race but I don't remember an awful lot about it, which says a lot

- only 8 drivers on the podium all year, with a big gap between the top teams and the rest

- the new teams didn't do as well as I'd hoped, which was a disappointment

I can't say it was a bad season - I'd be mad to criticise it. But I've never felt it got going. It has the sort of feeling about it that I'd normally be getting after 3 or 4 races - leaves you wanting and expecting more, but not in a "ZOMG brilliant" kind of way

7.

If it was for the "racing" itself, it'd barely make 5. But all the stuff next to the track just made the season that tad more interesting.

I gave it 9, this season had everything, although it could have had maybe one or two better races (Interlagos was a bit dissapointing racing wise, result was good).

One of the best seasons during the era that I've been following the sports closely, even though this was the first season we didn't have any Finnish drivers on the podium. Thankfully Vettel is almost Finnish man, like he said yesterday.

8, it was a very good season.

But wasn't perfect because there where some very (very) dull races in it. And my favorite, Hamilton, didn't won it.

But still a season to remember IMO.

8/10.
I haven't followed F1 for very long(since 2006) but I thought it was quite good with controversy, crashes, battles and entertaining races like Australia, China, Monaco, Canada, Spa, Singapore, Japan and Korea. Bahrain and Abu Dhabi weren't great though. :flag:

Gave it a 9. Don't know why tho.. if I look at it a little closer I should've given it an 8. Actually some races at the beginning on the season were quite boring. Abu Dhabi was lucky to be the season's finale. Otherwise that would've been a borefest as well.

7 - mainly for the close title fight going right down to the wire. Unfortunately the racing sucked half the time.

My thoughts exactly. Bahrain, Valencia and the actually racing at Abu Dhabi were bloody awful.

9. Thought it was brilliant and only a few races were a let down. We got controversy, crashes, some great overtaking moves & a tense finale. Plus I found that the twitter factor made F1 more accessible for fans.

Just like 2007; looks exiting on paper but sucked in reality.

I thought it was an outstanding season. Vettel only won 5 of 19 races to clinch the title, 4 drivers being able to win the titel before the final race. Just shows how much variety F1 2010 had. Of course there were some dull parts, but I somehow felt this was less compared to the last years. The new regulations actually made it more interesting and the racing itself was way better than 2009 for instance. We had some amazing races such as Melbourne, Montreal, Yeongam, Spa, Shanghai...yeah I really enjoyed it. A 9 from me.

I can only think of a couple of bad races, such as Bahrain or Monza (not so sure about Barcelona). But pretty much every other race had amazing moments. Australia this year had some of the best racing I've ever seen in F1, what a great race. Highlight of the year has to be Spa for me, but that's heavily based upon personal reasons :p .

Gonna give it a 9 overall
