20 seconds for an unclear set of regulations? no way.

I could have accepeted that he and Alonso swapped positions again, but this is just ridiculous

I think it would be fine if they swapped positions, but if this had happened earlier in the race (say he passed him before the restart line) Schumacher would have been given a drive through and lost 20 seconds. It's usually what the penalty is so I'd have to say that it is fair and should be expected.

Swap positions and implement GWC.

I thought it was 25 seconds for an applied DT, anyway?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Absolutely not. The move was legal!!! FIA stewards yet again make a ridiculous decision. I thought the days of throwing penalties at drivers was gone but oh no...

No, they reduced it to 20 for this year

20 seconds is according the rule.

What Schumacher did was someting he normally would get a drive trough penalty for that. Doing that in the last three laps it means a 20 sec. penalty.

But the rule is not clear. It was green all over the place. It's a strange decision by the stewards. Race Control was wrong here. You can't blame that on Schumacher or Alonso. So, yes. The penalty is unfair.

I'm not a fan of Schumacher but the regulation isn't clear.

Swap positions would have been okay, but Schumacher wasn't at fault.

= The penalty isn't fair at all

I don't know.

I need that option.

Rulebook says you can't overtake
Marshalls and race director said green.

I'm not sure.

In my opinion that would be an error of judgement by the race directors. Michael isn't going to know every rule in the book to think twice about a move.

Hello, Damon, I didn't realise you were a member here.

How much did the FIA pay you?

True, but in the end if it is written black on white that in this specific situation you cannot overtake, then there's not much option I suppose.
