if it's a serious thread you could at least change the topic title.

Spa is up though, could be blast.
And the weather here sucks lately, so I hope it stays that way for 2 more weeks :p

It was a really poor race last year, I don't think it'll be particularly exciting unless we see some rain or a safety car shuffles the order.

I doubt Spa and Monza will be good races unless it rains. The dirty air will restrict overtaking like last year :(

I have to agree on spa being rubbish last year. But still, it's great to see it's still on the calendar, because it's a classic f1 circuit.

Let's hope that it's better this year.

I'm just hanging on to the hope that next year's cars are going to give us good racing again. Tracks like Silverstone, Spa and the like have been made somewhat less interesting because the current aero rules just doesn't suit fast, flowing circuits.

It will still be enjoyable to watch, Spa and Monza are awesome.

That is what cars should look like next year

Adrian Sutil said the 2009 Force India car "looks a lot like a 1997 car"

With the summer we've had, you sort of expect a wet Spa GP. I'd actually like a changable GP which is wet and dry, but now I think I'm getting too picky.

Does anyone have a link to the model they had in autosport? It was posted in the MSN chat during the european GP last weekend

I agree. Maybe I'm being over-optimistic, but oh well.

Either way I also agree that Monza will be really bad this year barring a miracle.

Front half of the car looks awesome.
Back half of the car looks horrible.

Overall, quite a disappointment.

it's somewhere on tbk I think, in the formula 1 discussion thread. I'l have a look for it.

Oh, and if it's true what sutil says, then we're back in business.

*edit: nevermind, forgot that that thread got deleted

How do you want cars to look? Sorry to break it to you but early 1990s cars aren't coming back.

I think it looks good. THe rear seems a bit weird indeed, but if it delivers great racing, I'm all for it.

Looks like something from the late 80s/very early 90s.

That's true, the most important thing at the end of the day is the racing. And at least it still looks like a proper racing car (unlike the current IRL car for example).
