Hamilton and Leclerc called to the stewards for plank checks. May be a DQ for both of them. |

As a result Carlos gets 3rd, so if it was an intentional rules breach deserving of penalty then another likely illegal car is on the podium (only Max, Charles, Lewis and Landon's cars were tested), and if it was incidental and caused by the ghetto Austin track surface, Charles and Lewis should feel pretty ripped off. |

Would the teams have noticed excessive wear if they had had more practice sessions? |

And because drivers don´t like it. And because most fans don´t like it. |

I would be very surprised if the Astons at the very least had legal planks by the end of the race. One of the things they broke parc ferme to do was change the ride height and Alonso ended up retiring because of floor damage. |

That way people won't have anything to complain about |

Same with Belgium and the changeable conditions with great racing, very very anticlimactic. And lets not forget Austria with all it's action and passing which unfortunately... yes was also anticlimactic . Baku was also pretty anticlimactic because... it just jolly well was |

No, it's just frustrating seeing everyone being so negative about any aspect of change in Formula One. Do people realise they are watching one of the most changeable sports in the world? This isn't football |

And sometimes stage racing in NASCAR gets an exciting 'finish' but they're still pointless. |
