I doubt that Perez will return to Aston Martin where Papa Stroll already kicked him out a couple of years ago.

Papa Stroll is looking at getting bought out of Aston Martin by Saudi group Aramco, so it's not completely out of the realms of possibility

And who is their pet project driver they'll inflict on us?

Lance Stroll's, and indeed Aston Martin's compettitive days may be numbered if that's the case

Unusual to see Stroll like that. Whilst he comes from an incredibly privileged background, you don't normally see him acting like a spoilt kid. Maybe he's finally under pressure for not performing.

What other options in F1 does he have? Williams?

Assuming he is doing one more year at Red Bull in 2024, he will be 35 by the time the 2025 season starts. That´s an age on which most F1 drivers call it a day and retire the sport.

By then, Alonso will still be kicking everyone´s ass ofcourse, although he retired at age 37.

Didn't they redo all the curbs, especially for f1? The guy in charge of that redesign and renovation should be fired. Why didn't they put narrow curbs with grass or sand or gravel just behind it? We would not have this track limit farce, and the tires would not get cut from running beyond the outer edge of the curbs.

The kerbs are massive sawtooths, like the new ones at Jerez.

So new tyres aren't allowed to be used for more than 20 laps and must make at least 3 stops...

So they've repainted the track limits.

Maybe they should've built that street track after all

Are they talking about making them do a pit stop in the SPRINT?

What a fuck up lol

Except Qatar makes Indy look like fucking Interlagos. A dull race was already on the cards, but now it will be hall-of-fame dull.

So apparently track changes are possible mid-weekend. I know this is a much smaller change than the proposed chicane at Indy, but I wonder how the course of F1 in the US would have changed had they been this sensible in 2005

and there wasn't major incidents this weekend so far to trigger knee jerk reactions, just some small tweaks
