Indeed and more rain is incoming. I expect QLF to be cancelled or delayed until tomorrow.

At least tomorrow and Sunday looks more showery and not consistent rain.

With the old barrier position, that AT would have been in the barrier

At least F3 and F2 were able to run FP. If their qualifyings are cancelled, they can form a grid from those results.

Still looks like full wet conditions out there but they're starting to switch to inters. The full wets are useless

If I understood correctly from Vowles is that Inters have tyrewarmers, Full wets have not. Therefore you're quicker up to temp and you can keep the temps in the tyres.
They also are a softer construction from what I understood therefore generating more grip and speed. Full wets are good rain tyres, just not really fast.

Talking about tyre warmers: ban pushed back until at least 2025.

They are called red-flag tyres. They look nice when cars are not moving.

Well, they have piled up at Spa just as bad as open wheel cars.

Yeah, I meant from safety POV. Being more exposed.

funny that they keep warming inters given they'll lose the temperature instantly as soon they touch the wet tarmac

It looks like this latest bunch of rain has passed the track in an hour, so maybe they can run the qualifying or at least have to delay it for 30 minutes maximum.
