I am impressed though how the order changes behind the Red Bull, Aston, Mercedes, Ferrari, now Mclaren. If Red Bull ever lose their dominance, you could have another winner at nearly every race |

thought McLaren would drop bad but they did the right call Mercedes also played fine, held calm and focused on race setup, played well while Ferrari and Aston Martin failed |

Somebody needs to tot up the championship results so far without Red Bull, or at least without Max. I think there is a corker of a season playing out there. |

All this "I didn't drive to 3rd, the fans did" and "amazing strategy" and "great recovery from 7th to 3rd" when all it took to get to the podium was a well-timed SC so he lost less time during his pitstop. Anyway, although there were some nice battles on track again, overall this was yet another snoozefest. Ferrari strategists have reached 2022 levels again. I have to kick Stroll out of my fantasyteam asap, and maybe sell Aston Martin alltogether because it seems they are starting to lose the pace. |

That strategy is the only reason George ever used to beat him last year tbf, so it felt apt Lewis got one back over him, at least. That's what the VSC does, takes racing off the track and gifts the driver who doesn't pit track position and fresher tyres, meaning they won't be overtaken I've always hated it for that reason, but it's a valid strategic element of the VSC ever since it began, it's not like it's suddenly an issue now it happened to Lewis Aside from that, not the greatest race, desperately needed that SC didn't it? Even though they could've probably handled that with a VSC, the director decided to give us some fun... Also great to have a break from Sky for one weekend a year.... |

To be fair, it's the same when they used to close the pits when the SC came out. If you didn't pit you'd end up behind all those who did. *cough*Singapore '08*cough* Now with the delta times you'd still get the same effect as with VSC, but I guess not as massive a disadvantage but still one nonetheless. It wasn't so much strategy as it was Hamilton did more of the experimenting to try and make the car better whereas Russell didn't since he was more concentrating on settling into the team. |

Good results for McLaren & Albon, awful race overall. DRS has long outstayed its welcome. |

But if that helped your result, acknowledge it. Don´t just say you/ the fans/the team was amazing, say you got lucky with the pitstops. After the pitstop, you still need to keep it on the track ofcourse and don´t do a Sainz, losing 4 places in 3 corners or something. |

I thought it was a decent race post SC - good amount of action. Was looking pretty dire before the SC, probably one of the worse of the season up to that point Sent from my CPH2005 using Tapatalk |

Not one to play back on the highlight reel. Ahh gutted for Oscar, that podium was his, but them's the breaks. Hungary will be interesting to see if McLaren now has genuine pace or track and condition specific. And for some perspective, after this race Stroll is only 2 points ahead of Norris in a McLaren that apart from this race has been a shit box all season. Can someone in Aston please grow a pair and give him the boot. |
