if you see a few years back we had SportPesa Racing Point (formely known as Force India)

I'm already predicting a full black livery based on a retro look of the first 1993 car, but is actually bare carbon fiber to save weight

Probably black and white with red accents. Or red and white with black accents.

If this year's livery was a teaser, it's going to be half bright green and half black.

Ugh

Sorry to go back to this, but just to clarify I wasn't trying to make a misogynistic statement, I apologise if it came across that way. What I meant to say was that given her position as managing director of F1 Academy it would have been very bad PR for the FIA if they removed her from that position because of something like this (even if these "allegations" had any truth behind them).

meanwhile FIA got a nice boost from Max Verstappen superlicense fee, the least wanted record he broke for his success, 1,2 million euros

Ugh, F1TV will stop its service in France. News just came in today, and I also received a cryptic email where I still can't figure out if I will be able to watch until end 2024, or pay and not watch, or not pay and watch or whatever the illiterate AI that generated that email is trying to communicate in human language.

It would be OK if our only choice left wasn't Canal+, the channel that belongs to Bolloré.

Vincent Bolloré, the racist lunatic, religious fanatic, conservative supremacist, Rupert Murdoch-wannabe piece of shit. Yes, the guy who is single-handedly attempting to destroy media pluralism in France and has probably cost us 20 points of collective IQ since 2010 by importing Fox News crap into our country and filling people's brains with shit, hatred and division.
You ain't getting 20 bucks a month from me again just because you're using your ill-acquired wealth to buy F1 out of the country. I'm pirating this shit off of a VPN to Belgium, or back to luck-of-the-day Chinese streams like the uni days.

Not sure how plausible this is as I don't have too much experience, but could you get a VPN for a country that f1tv is allowed? And get the service as if you were in that country

I seem to remember people saying that didn’t work, but don’t quote me on that.

And if it does work, please PM me so I can do it too, no way am I paying like £900 a year to watch F1 on Sky (yes I know NowTV is about £350 but I just can’t bring myself to pay Sky for anything, they are such a vile company).

F1TV for me is a point of no return, if they increase the price too much or discontinue here then I'll finally stop watching F1

I've thought about signing up but what I may do is just share a subscription with someone and we share the login.

On the Sky F1 channel you also get live Formula 2, Formula 3, Indycar, Indy NXT, and some other live events like Ferrari Challenge and GT World Challenge so there is quite a lot of content. If you are only interested in F1 however then it probably isn't worth it.

You need a credit card issued from the country that you are trying to watch from. As a Japanese resident we don't get F1TV just the vanilla TV Access. My parents have Foxtel (Australia) so I try to watch on a VPN, but Foxtel is so bloody useless the stream just buffers and stops every minute or so, making it unwatchable. So I've been back to the old days of pot luck on dodgy streams with a gazillion pop ups wher you have to hit the correct X to close them.

I so hope that the rumor I saw of Apple TV looking at purchasing future rights for it are true. If it is freely available (not Geo locked) like they have done with MLS, then I would jump on it.

If it's apple, they'll charge triple what it is now and you'll have to buy some special plug

F1TV has this nice thing with password sharing. On mobile devices you can only share with 6 but apparently by browser is unlimited
