Ah well, if Mercedes is going to win a race this season, I´m happy for Russell if he takes it.

Verstappen fans will of course insist that Hamilton left him no room, and Hamilton fans will whine that Verstappen as usual divebombed Hamilton and expected him to yield. From a neutral perspective, it's on both drivers.

Hamilton knew Verstappen would be on the inside of T2 having seen him brake deeper into T1. All he had to do was take a slightly wider line into T2 to allow margin for both cars. Similarly, Verstappen also knew that Hamilton would be alongside him going into T2 and should've left himself the option to back out. But as usual, he took the Senna mentality of 'I'm going through, and you're going to decide if we crash today or not.'

Oh, do not start teasing us about rain, this race is already good enough lol
