Hamilton had an impressive comeback from penalties during the sprint race and another remarkable performance, not without a controversial move by Verstappen, which wasn't enough to stop him

If we're lucky, it will be cancelled due to rain. :innocent: Currently it seems it should rain on both Saturday and Sunday...but as we all know it very well, it can rain 100 meters from the circuit without a single drop landing on the track itself.

Anyway, looking forward to Interlagos as always. For me, it's the end of F1 season. I consider Abu Dhabi part of Formula Oil championship, created by Bernie in 2004.

Easy double win for Verstappen unless his car fails

the sprint cannot be canceled, otherwise that foolish italian will claim that fans will feel the need for more as this year they had less

Best prediction I have seen is that Lewis wins the sprint and Max wins the GP, leading to fanboy implosion as they try to work out whether or not Hamilton has won enough of a race for it to count as a 'win' this year...

well some football teams put stars above their crests from olympic medals, why not count this faux race as a win :whistling:

Sprint race has never officially counted as win, only as pole position for the next day.
Even if Russell wins, it won´t count as his first F1 victory.

Sprint doesn't count as a win but running 2 laps under SC at Spa does, go figure

But we all know Ted would bust multiple nuts live on tv if Lewis would win. The poor guy has been forced to hold it in all season long.

Only if he was actually talking about Lewis winning as depicted in the Brat Pitt movie and the part where he's actually referencing the movie is cut out of the clip for maximum ire creation ;)

Now that Hamilton has been awarded honorary Brazilian citizenship we have just reclaimed the bragging rights of Brazil being the country with most Driver Championships :p

Norris has severe food poisoning, unsure if he can participate this weekend. Because of the stupid sprint race, qualifying is already tomorrow so he has to be fit by then.

De vries might get a chance to make participate in an official role for a 4th team in 1 season. Might be closing in on a record there

checking the statistics, only one driver in the modern era of F1 with regular contract drove for 3 different teams in one season, supersub himself Roberto Moreno in 1991 (Benetton, Jordan and Minardi)

Jean-Pierre Jarier raced in 1977 for ATS, Shadow and Ligier

found one more, Jacky Ickx did most of the 1973 season for Ferrari and one race each for McLaren and the first operation of Frank Williams

Can a team use one driver for the sprint and another for the race?

And is Alpine's deal with Mclaren from the beginning of the year to make Pastry available as sub still active, or was that just for the first round?
