Alex Albon

We now have 12 drivers on a grid of 20 who have won a race. That means there are not a lot left who can still score that first victory. In 2024, Piastri is the only one who has a semi realistic chance, otherwise we might have to wait a couple of years until enough fresh drivers have risen.

Piastri. It's very likely as the seasons are so long today and even Verstappen seems to be happy to allow someone else to win.
Btw, if thread #114 had existed, I would've voted Norris correctly (I swear :innocent: ).

There are seven occasions when it has taken more than two years between consecutive first-time winners:
25 September 1982 - 21 April 1985 (Alboreto and Senna)
12 October 1986 - 18 June 1989 (Berger and Boutsen)
22 October 1989 - 30 August 1992 (Nannini and Schumacher)
23 May 2004 - 6 August 2006 (Trulli and Button)
12 July 2009 - 15 April 2012 (Webber and Rosberg)
13 May 2012 - 8 June 2014 (Maldonado and Ricciardo)
30 April 2017 - 1 September 2019 (Bottas and Leclerc)

The one between Nannini and Schumacher is the longest.

I'm just gonna say it'll be a driver born on or after the year 2000.
