Now motorsport.com can stfu about Miami and the track surface.

Or can they. We'll see I guess.

TV direction been appalling again. Even on F1TV feed they managed to miss key moments

it's amazing that they have cameras everywhere and still miss things

Also, let me just put it out there that Mick Schumacher may very well never score points in F1.

Horrible (and entitled) driver tbh.

they could at least focus on ongoing battles and switch once leaders start engaging on overtakes instaead of anticipating while all hell breaks loose behind

We've had far worse races in more established venues, but no one would say Montreal or Spa or Suzuka should be dropped or not even considered as a venue after a much worse race right there.

I despise Miami and the hype shoved by this race is awful, but it is an interesting track indeed.

Let's see whether being awarded by Dan Marino handing Max the winner trophy next to his own statue will curse Max or not.

Althought I think you're being a bit harsh, it shows how bad of a driver Mazepin was. K-Mag can step in and be levels above Schumacher despite a year out of the sport, where Schumacher was levels above Mazepin last year.

Alonso gets another 5 sec. penalty for leaving track & gaining an advantage so Albon gets 9th and Stroll 10th.

Really impressive drives by Ocon and Albon today.

Hilarious levels of exaggeration here. He finally got on terms with K-Mag this weekend. His pace has been decent this season, but his race craft and tire management needs a lot of work. But I expect by mid-season he'll be consistently up there with K-Mag fighting for points, unless Haas fall away in the development race.

So what exactly was Hamilton upset with the team about with regards to his strategy? I guess the 'we win and lose as a team' mantra isn't applicable this season :(

Nor was it last year. Enough times where he slammed their decision if it didn’t work out.

What, didn't you guys enjoy watching positions swap like crazy on the left-hand banner, then get half-assed non-chronological replays about it?

Director must've been a fan of Memento

The f1 live feed did show mire things that the world feed luckily. Was nice to finally see splitscreen during the start replays, and some other battles shown in splitscreen. But the crowdshots need to go during overtakes,.

The directing looked like how I would direct something. "oh lets try this shot, I bet it would look cool" but I have absolutely zero clue what I am doing so it sucks balls.

hamilton's one weakness is that he lets the team dictate the strategy without hardly ever calling an audible. so tell me, when "strategy" costs him places (especially to his teammate) you just expect him not to talk to his team about it? working together with other people requires communication, right? especially when trying to work through problems?

and sure, it seems more like shit luck thats shafted lewis in saudi arabia, melbourne and miami. imola he just sucked, and the only fortune he's had was in bahrain when the redbulls dnf'd lewis onto the podium. but if it was me i would certainly start wondering what was going on with that kind of consistent bad luck. lewis drove really strong races in saudi arabia and melbourne, and a decent race in miami but still somehow ended up behind russell because of ill-timed cautions

$13,000 fucking dollars? Holy shit. For $13,000 a ticket, I want more than 5 Star service. I want hookers and blow on demand... It is Miami afterall.

$640 for a grandstand seat... On a Friday? $500 for G/A for race day. Those prices are ridiculous. We went to Montreal, granted it was many years ago, and had 3 day G/A, hotel and rental car for the weekend for $300USD each.

New GP's tend to sell hot the first year... Then fall off. I'll stand by my previous prediction of this race is gone after 3 seasons.

Tickets were massivly overpriced, but the event was sold out for 3 days so it worked.
